Discover the wineries that make up the Station District

The Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, CVNE, was founded in 1879 in La Rioja. After five generations, the same family remains at the head of this century-old winery that offers an unforgettable tour of its own wine village, which includes an impressive barrel room designed by the legendary architect Gustave Eiffel, a bottle cemetery holding veritable jewels for wine lovers and the garden house, where you can book your lunch. Its wines, Cune, Imperial, Real de Asúa, Monopole and Corona, are blend of tradition and innovation, made in the heart of the Station District of Haro, the Capital of Wine.

Bodegas Bilbaínas has its origins in 1859, when French producers settled in Haro to make and export red wine to France. Four decades later, in 1901, the Bilbao businessman Santiago de Ugarte took over the company and founded BODEGAS BILBAÍNAS in the mythical Station District.
A pioneer from the outset, the house is the largest owner of vineyards in the municipality of Haro, with a total of 250 hectares surrounding the winery. The first vintage of Viña Pomal, the winery’s flagship brand, dates back to 1904, which marked the starting point for the birth of a classic.

Born in 1987, above a 19th century cellar situated on a balcony overlooking the River Ebro, in the Haro Station District, Bodegas RODA was the last winery to join the golden mile of Rioja wine. Considered the most classic among the modern.
It arrived in the 1980s with a firm commitment to the traditional model of Rioja viticulture, shunning prevailing trends. Hard work coupled with an innovative vision, positioned it among the best wines in the world from the start. The house’s philosophy is based on native red grape varieties (Tempranillo, Garnacha and Graciano), old vines and a deep respect for each vintage, while it sees the preservation of the landscape as an essential foundation to guarantee sustainable viticulture in each of its wines.
